Wondering what to do now that Halloween’s here? How about popping over to your local comic book shop for the Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) Halloween ComicFest (HCF)? FCBD is full of fun! You get to choose 3 or more comic books–for FREE!

Comic books are made by DIFFERENT publishers. DC Comics publishes Superman and Batman, while Marvel publishes Spiderman, The Avengers and X-Men. And there are MANY more comic book publishers! For FCBD, all the different publishers create special comics that are given out for absolutely no charge. That’s right–FREE!

All comic book shops run HCF differently, but MOST shops will let you 3 books (give or take, depending on the location). Choose wisely because they have an ENORMOUS selection of 21 books! While you’re there, you might also find a couple of other books that you would like to buy and take home with you.

I bet you’re thinking, “Oh! My! Gosh! That’s incredible.” HFC and FCBD were made for a reason. HCF was created as a follow up to Free Comic Book Day. The publishers of these books, wanted to make your Halloween a little more cartoon-like.

Your probably thinking . . . If I go this year to the Halloween ComicFest, what will I get for free? PURE COMIC MADNESS, that’s what you’ll get. If that doesn’t fulfill your life, I don’t know what will! Guess what all these comics are . . . FREE! I know. With all this selection, it’s so hard to choose just a few!

My family and I always look forward to going up to Cyber City Comics and picking out each of our 3 books every year. HCF is a great way to explore new books, learn how to read, encourage your children to read more, and do it all for…FREE! I have been going to  FCBD for 3 years now (or since 2013). So head on over the Halloween Comic Fest today! You do NOT want to miss the spook-tackular fun!
